Equipment Growth
In the middle of 19th century, the first Industrial Revolution brought the world into Age of Steam where cold weapons were superseded by firearms. The second revolution afterwards marked human’s entry to Electric Age. A great leap is in the science and technology always followed by a significant worldwide development.
Now, Destiny Online is undergoing an epoch-making technology revolution with brand-now equipment growth system, item signature and shining effect. The new world is coming.
Part 1: Equipment Level-up
1. New Item 
Name: Blessing of Goddess
Description: A piece of sacred instrument that can be used to improve the level of equipment, at certain odds.
Usage: Left click on Blessing of Goddess, move the cursor to a piece of equipment and then left click on it. (Similar to the usage of Deity Rune and War Rune)
Purpose: Upgrade a piece of equipment into a higher-level one.
2. Example
A Level 10 Peachwood Staff might become a Level 20 Sandalwood Staff if you use a Blessing of Goddess on it.
You might find a socket in the equipment after it levels up. What is it? Where does it come from? We’ll answer these questions in the next guide.
Part 2: Equipment Grade
1. New Item 
Name: Dragon Bone
Description: A piece of bone from a distinct dragon species that can be used to upgrade equipment’s quality and even add sockets to it at certain odds.
Usage: Left click on Dragon Bone, move the cursor to a piece of equipment and then left click on it. (Similar to the usage of Deity Rune and War Rune).
Purpose: Upgrade a piece of equipment into a higher-grade one (From low to high: White, Green, Blue, Golden and Purple)
2． Example
A green Dragon Staff might become blue after you use a Dragon Bone on it.
Similarly, a socket may be produced during the upgrade. We’ll introduce this mystic new attribute in next guide.

Will the grade (the colour green,blue, yellow etc) be affected when we upgrade a piece of equipment using the Blessing of Goddess? How about the stats of the new equipment, is it randomly generated?

if you have a blue equipment, it will remain blue after you use a BoG on it. the stats of the new equipment are generated by a certain formula but it will surely be better than the original one.

Does the BOG works on necklaces? Why is it says after i used that “Upgrade Failed”?

you can ask NPC Engineer Jared to DB that for you. Give him multiple DBs and he will successfully upgrade ur equipment.

Once you use Dragon Bone to upgrade your equipment from Golden to Purple, it will automatically get a skill.

Does BoG upgrade still produce socket to the EQ?
I have tried many successful BoG upgrade to my EQ but none of them give me socket.

The chances for socket and for BoG upgrade are separated. That is to say, even if you fail the BoG, you might still get a socket on your equipment.
