Guide for Swordsmen lv. 10-15

I. Level 10-15If you aren’t alreadythere, get your butt over to Plume City.  Once your there, it might bea bit confusing since it’s a lot, and I repeat, a lot, different fromCarp Village.  It’s chock full of NPCs, from a panda that gives you EXPto the swordsman mentor to random passerbys, and get this – a bipolarpet doctor.  Yes, now your precious Bobi can even either be healed tosacrificed!  w00t!  Anyway, a quick rundown on the things you should doin Plume City -Bamboo Doll – This panda is a pretty awesome one.  Basically, you answer 10 questions for EXP.  This can be done daily.
Swordsman Mentor & Assistant -You can get your skills and complete class quests here for exp, silverand skill points.  As a note, your skill level cannot be more than 10levels higher than your own level, so you have to level up before youget Mighty Manual.
Financial Manager – This guy will ask you to do bounty hunt quests, where you get silver, a lot of experience and virtue points for completing.
Merchant - In exchange for afew monster drops, you get to participate in a lotto draw, kind of likeprize roulette, in which the prize varies from silver to armor toweapons to potions.
Sir Virtue – This guy givesyou experience based on your cultivation level – he little stars andmoons under your name.  These stars and moons give you extraexperience, of which you can claim by talking to Sir Virtue.

If you can’t find these people, here’s a tip – click the looking glasson your mini map in the upper right corner and then click the NPC’sname.  LGP has a great function called auto tracking where it takes yousomewhere automatically.  Likewise, if you want to get to the otherside of the map, click the point where you want to go once and wait. Also, if you want to get somewhere faster, hold the mouse down.

Equipment: Wind Sword.  Ditch the lame novice one – either buy one ofthese or hunt for it, as soon as possible.  Although one that must beappraised is better than the cookie cutter one from the weapons dealer,a plain one is just fine until you can extort a better one.  This is amust.  Likewise, ditch the novice armor and get the blue dragon ones.

Maps To Grind: Mulberry Forest, Charred Village, White Dew Slope
Animals to Grind On: Chipmunks and Rain Elves
Drops: Chipmunk Hair, Rainwater, Copper Powder, Colorful Powder, Azure String
Save: Chipmunk Hairs and Rainwater.  Hoard Chipmunk hairs.
Before You Head Out to Grind: -Pick up the bounty quests and class quests.
-Buy around 10 scroll quests.  Right click to activate.
-Bring potions, especially MP.   Don’t forget you can always press 0 to recover for free.
-It is highly suggested you get a master, preferably one that is on allthe time (and probably afk most of it).  You get a 10% EXP boost.  Oh,and don’t forget to team up.  Simply team up with strangers trainingthe the same map for a lot more EXP.

Grind on Chipmunks and Rain Elves, but don’t level just yet.  Just keepon grinding until your EXP is around 3 or 4 times of what you need tolevel.  Then head back to Plume City, go to your mentor, and startstudying skills.  Get your Nature’s Sword to as high as possible, thenhead back and train until you have twice the amount of experience youneed to level.  Go to the Mentor and study Nature’s Spell until you getto level 6.  Now you have Clear Stream and then you can self heal. From this point on, keep on grinding and get to 15, picking up skillsalong the way as you deem necessary.  Keep in mind, Exquisite andInfinite are two very useful skills, as are Sweeping and Pilgrim, sodon’t neglect skills, as they come in very useful.
