It happens that it sometimes costs dozens of Rainbow Stones. Bad luck haunting...
Wait for a couple of seconds after you put in the stone and equipment until the success rate appears and then click on "OK".

haha i have a cap that wasted 30bullion on it and it still purple

i was db'ing my ex wifes staff and ate 50 db's and still not crimson

then my boots that ate 30 db's 20 bogs and 25 rainbows

please dont compare DB w RS.. its totally different. u can see the change success of RS clearly coz its like other gem just need to 'compose'. DB is different, u drag n drop w.o knowing the change of success (same like BOG too). for 1st slot RS have 24% chance.. figure out ur self how come its waste more than 20 RS ???? even i would like to challenge anyone who can embed that RS to my crown (note: 5 ppl give up)

I don't believe in that sort of stuff myself. I think all equips have the same chance for success with anything. Personally, it's never taken me more than 5 rainbow stones for the 1st socket. Now for sockets 3 and higher, that's a different matter. I think the success rates shown for them aren't accurate. Perhaps the game's random number generator is of poor quality...
