We’re glad to announce that the Open Beta of Destiny Online started at 7 PM (PST.) today (Jan.13 2009.)
In the meantime, a brand new server “Penguin” has joined our first 2 servers Panda and Koala to accommodate our growing player base.
Here’s what’s include the Open Beta patch
In Patch 1.034, we present you some features such as Scouting Lv.4 and Pet Manual and fix some bugs as well. More importantly, it renames the game and opens the gates for Destiny Online open beta test.
1. Added Scouting Level 4 to display Map Bosses
2. Disabled the permanent bound items to be dropped in a PvP combat
3. Disabled Dragon Bone and Blessing of Goddess to be used on novice equipment
4. Added Basic Manual and Advanced Manual to Item Mall
Basic Manual: A basic pet manual. Your pet will gain 5,000 EXP (or reach next level) after using it. Any leftover EXP will not be stored.
Advanced Manual: An elite pet manual. Your pet will gain 20,000 EXP (or reach next level) after using it. Any leftover EXP will not be stored.
5. Updated the success rate of pet skill learning

6. Fixed the breakup of Master-apprentice relationship when the apprentice character has been deleted
7. Fixed the online display in the Master-apprentice panel
8. Removed +Strength from Green, Blue and Golden staffs and +Intelligence from blades
9. Fixed City Guards’ wings
10. Changed LGP to Destiny in the server selection, login and character selection and creation interfaces
The patch will be automatically downloaded and installed when you start the game. If you encounter any problems during the auto-update, please download the manual patch from here.

well like every time new patch you make every one get lost is it so difficult if you put the link for the patch coz it is not work automaticly now i’m busy i have to go to start researh how to found the patch

sigh, i was hoping that they would not open up a new server, this fast, makes the population a little bit spread. but none the less, the game is still young….

the patch is automatically downloaded and installed when you start running the game.
